Ronald Koeman has a big decision to make with regards to the future of Philippe Coutinho after he was appointed the new manager of Barcelona.
The 57-year-old, who won a European Cup for the La Liga giants as a player in 1992, stood down from his role as coach of the Netherlands to take the job at Barcelona just two days after Quique Setien was dismissed.
One of his first jobs will be to decide whether or not he wants to keep Coutinho, who is being strongly linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder has struggled to find his feet at the Nou Camp, and spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich.
He twice scored against his parent club in the 8-2 thrashing in the Champions League quarter-final last week, however, and it remains to be seen whether Koeman sees him as part of his plans going forward or not.
President Josep Maria Bartomeu stated on Tuesday that it is up to Koeman how he deals with the player, saying: "The head coach will make the decision. If he wants him to continue, next year he will play with us."
Upon his departure from the Netherlands to join Barcelona Koeman expressed his regret at leaving, but admitted it was impossible to turn down his 'dream job'.

In a statement on the Dutch football association's website, he said: "It was an honour to be the national coach of the Netherlands. Over the past two and a half years, I have done everything I can to achieve success.
"I look back with pride on what we have achieved together in that period. The Dutch national team has a bright future, I am convinced of that.
"Everyone knows that Barcelona is my dream club. It feels very special to me to be able to become a coach there."
