Ronald Darby’s contract with Eagles will pay him $8.5M in 2019

The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Friday that they have re-signed cornerback Ronald Darby to a one-year deal and according to Ian Rapoport, it’ll be at a discount.

Darby gets the chance to earn a starting spot with the Eagles, where he’ll be able to put himself in a position to get a huge deal next offseason. Darby was hoping to cash out on a lucrative long-term deal in free agency, but will now return to Philadelphia, where he’ll battle a deep corp of cornerbacks looking to make a name for themselves.
