Ron Rivera says there was ‘euphoria’ in Washington’s locker room after upset over Steelers

You think this win meant a lot to the Washington Football Team?

When asked to describe the feeling in the locker room after the game, Washington coach Ron Rivera said that there was ‘euphoria,’ noting that the players were as happy as they’ve been after a win this season.

They deserve to be happy too. After trailing by 14 points in the first half to an undefeated team, just after losing their rookie RB who has been a revelation in the first quarter, Washington could have easily bowed out of this game and accepted the loss that everyone expected them to take. Instead, they turned things around and gave it their all, upsetting the Steelers and beating the last-remaining undefeated team in the NFL.

That’s a win deserving of euphoria.
