Romford stabbing: Two teenagers charged after 19-year-old knifed outside east London supermarket

Two teenagers have been charged after a 19-year-old man was stabbed outside an east London supermarket.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were scrambled to Romford at around 1.20pm on Tuesday.

A 19-year-old was found with multiple stab injuries outside Lidl, in Atlanta Boulevard, near the railway station in the town centre.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was later discharged, Scotland Yard said.

Police have now arrested two teenagers in connection with the daylight attack.

Charlie Khan, 19, of Granton Avenue, Upminster, has been charged with GBH and possession of a knife.

Harry Goodwin, 19, of Aspen Grove, Upminster, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

Both will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
