Romeo Beckham waited to propose to his girlfriend to "avoid stealing big brother Brooklyn’s limelight".
The footballer, who is the second oldest of the Beckham brood, is yet to pop the question to girlfriend Mia Regan.
But a source told the Sunday Mirror it could be imminent as although he is only 19, he sees Mia - who is the same age - as his soulmate.
“Romeo always wanted to wait for Brooklyn to wed and avoided doing anything that could take the limelight from his brother,” the insider said.
While Brooklyn married US heiress Nicola Peltz in a lavish £3 million wedding in Miami earlier this month, Romeo will have a more low-key wedding.

The source said: “Mia is a very different woman to Nicola Peltz and has always stated she would like to marry in Britain, making for a far more casual and low-key wedding to the one Nicola and Brooklyn had.”
So it seems David and Victoria Beckham could be gearing up for another family wedding in the near future.
As well as saying he wants to marry Mia, teenager Romeo has revealed he wants a big family and “can’t wait to get started”.
“Marrying quickly and young seems to be in the Beckham tradition. They are besotted with each other and are definitely in it for life,” the source said.
“They also talked about how much they want a big family and can’t wait to get started.”
Romeo looks set to get down on one knee now Brookyn’s wedding celebrations are over.
Him and Mia, who have been together since 2019, discussed marriage while on a family holiday and now it looks like it will turn into a reality.
British beauty Mia is already said to be close to Romeo’s mum Victoria and seems serious about becoming a part of the family.
The couple regularly post loved-up snaps of themselves on social media and seem really happy together.
They even have cute nicknames for each other. She calls him ‘Ro Ro’, while he calls her ‘mooch’.
On Valentine’s Day Romeo shared a sweet snap of the pair on holiday together with his 3.4 million Instagram followers.
In the shot Mia is wearing a pink bikini and he is in blue swimming trunks. He is picking her up as they both smile at the camera.
He captioned the post: “Happy Valentine’s Day mooch. Love you so much @minimoocher.”
