Romeo and David Beckham took to the garden for a kickabout under grey skies as the two faced off in a game of keepie-uppies.
Romeo showed that his dad's magic touch runs in the family as he managed to keep up with his elder for the most part.
But ultimately, it was Beckham Senior who came off the best as he displayed the sort of silken technique that made him an England and Manchester United legend.
In the video posted on David Beckham's Instagram account, the two can be seen standing on a football pitch, inside the centre circle.
David is wearing a red hat and boots, while Romeo's hair is tied up as he dons long sleeves and tracksuit pants.
David starts off the game by playing an awkward ball to Romeo, who recovers well and pings the ball back to his dad, who controls it with his head.
David then kicks the ball back to Romeo, who flicks it up with a back-heel which is then returned by his dad.
The two exchange passes for a while, but eventually it becomes clear that David is the more comfortable of the two with the ball at his feet.
Romeo is forced to control it with his arm as he moves around the centre circle.
Dad David is content to stand almost rooted to the spot, bringing the ball under control with an exquisite first touch before sending it back to his son.
The Instagram video was posted with the caption: "Practice makes perfect. Like father like son". Romeo was tagged at the end of the post.
A host of celebrities and ex-team mates commented on the post.
Romeo himself commented with a heart emoji, while Robbie Keane posted three fire emojis.
Phil Neville played on his former role at Manchester United, commenting: "need a neville behind u mate to cover for you."
