Antonio Cassano has questioned why Romelu Lukaku wants to return to England after reviving his career with Inter Milan.
Chelsea are set to lodge a third offer for the Belgian striker with Inter willing to sell their star man if their £110million valuation is met.
Lukaku reportedly wants to re-sign with the Stamford Bridge club despite previously saying that he wanted to stay at the San Siro for the upcoming season.
The 28-year-old failed to make the cut with the Blues as a youngster and was also deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United following an impressive spell at Everton.
And Italian footballer and boyhood Inter fan Cassano has questioned why Lukaku is open to going back to a club that 'didn't appreciate' him.

Will Romelu Lukaku be a success story at Chelsea at the second time of asking? Comment below
He said on Twitch. "If this is really how much they are offering, I’d take him there personally."
"Having said that, I want to figure out what’s going on here. He had two really bad experiences in England, one decent one with Everton, and he wants to go back there.
"I have to ask myself, why go back to a club that didn’t appreciate you? Is it for money?"
Thomas Tuchel has refused to comment on the speculation surrounding Lukaku's future.
When the Chelsea boss was asked whether there was any truth to the rumours linking Lukaku with a return to Stamford Bridge, he said: "I will not talk about players who don’t play in my squad.
"Romelu Lukaku is a fantastic player but he’s a player from Inter and with all due respect, I will not talk about him in this situation."
On reports Lukaku is actively looking to seal a return to Chelsea, Tuchel replied: "Everybody wants to come!
"Well, not everybody unfortunately but you can imagine that a lot of players want to come and join.
"But like I said, we don’t comment on that."
