Romelu Lukaku's agent gives Manchester United fans hope in transfer window

Romelu Lukaku's agent believes Manchester United will still have pulling power in the transfer window despite the club's current plight.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a sizeable overhaul on his hands at Old Trafford but United's chances of attracting their top targets this summer appeared to have been dealt a blow by the club's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League.

However, Federico Pastorello doesn't believe that is the case as he thinks elite players will still be drawn to United by the sheer size of the club.

"I think Manchester United will have a lot of success in the summer bringing in players," Pastorello told Sky Sports.

"There will be a lot of work for Mr [Ed] Woodward but they will be able to convince the top players to come because the brand is amazing, one of the best in the world."

Pastorello expects Real Madrid to do big business in the summer as the reigning European champions begin a rebuild of their own following a disappointing campaign both domestically and in the Champions League.

"One of the top movers, in my opinion, will be Real Madrid," added Pastorello.

"For two summers they did not spend much but they have called back [Zinedine] Zidane and there will be a big revolution. The team needs to be younger so there will be a domino effect from that. I expect a very interesting market."

Lukaku has been linked with a move away from United this summer and last month Pastorello said the Belgian would discuss his future with the club at the end of the season.

United's No.9 has publicly flirted with the idea of a move to Italy on more than one occasion this year.
