Romelu Lukaku reveals difference in training sessions between Manchester United and Inter Milan

Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that training in Italy is 'real work' compared to his days in England.

After a long, drawn out transfer saga Lukaku finally completed his move to Inter on deadline day for a £73.7million fee after falling behind Marcus Rashford in the striking pecking order at United.

The Belgian was straight in amongst it and bagged for goals on his debut for the Nerazzurri in a 8-0 friendly thrashing over fourth division side Virtus Bergamo.

Lukaku has only been an Inter player for four days but is already feeling the strain of the vigorous training methods in Italy and explained the difference between England and Italy.

"It's hard man," Lukaku said with his head in his hands when asked how training was going by Otro.

"It's different. In England it's a lot of work. But over here it's real work."

Lukaku also reiterated his desire to achieve big things with Inter, who haven't won a Serie A title or the Champions League since their historic treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010.

"The city is nice, I don't mind. I didn't come here to live," he added. "I came here to help the team to achieve somehting."

Lukaku spent two years at Old Trafford, scoring 42 goals in 96 appearances.
