Romelu Lukaku drops Manchester United transfer hint amid Inter Milan interest

Romelu Lukaku has given another hint of his desire to secure a move to Inter Milan after posting a picture of his summer workout.

The Manchester United striker took to Instagram to share a picture of himself post-workout, and the colours of the top he was wearing were another indication of where he sees his future.

Lukaku posed for the selfie wearing a training top in the black and blue striped colours of Inter Milan, a shirt he is keen to wear next season, and it is understood the choice of apparel was no accident, sending another message to United of his desire for a move.

The Belgium striker is likely to find himself behind Marcus Rashford in the pecking order at Old Trafford next season and the MEN understands he is keen to secure a move to Inter, ideally before United jet off to Australia for their pre-season tour.

Lukaku is keen to work with Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte, who tried to sign him two years ago when the Italian was at Chelsea. Instead a move was scuppered and the striker ended up at Old Trafford, but he has lost his status as first-choice striker since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho.

Speaking on international duty earlier this month, Lukaku said: "It is good that Conte went to Inter, for me he is the best coach in the world.

"As for my future, I have already made a decision that I still cannot communicate publicly out of respect for Manchester United, with whom I have a contract."

United are understood to want a cash only, permanent deal for the 26-year-old, but Lukaku's latest social media post is another statement to the club of his desire to make the transfer happen this summer.
