Romelu Lukaku breaks silence on future amid Man City transfer links

Romelu Lukaku has addressed the speculation linking him with a transfer to Manchester City this summer.

Lukaku, 28, has emphatically rediscovered his form since leaving the Blues' rivals Manchester United two years ago and he's been sensational in front of goal for Inter Milan this season, scoring 30 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions.

When considering City are in the market for Sergio Aguero 's replacement, It's therefore not surprising that Lukaku has been regularly linked with a switch to the Etihad, while Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are the other two candidates rumoured for such a move.

The Belgian has converted his club form onto the international stage at the European Championship, too.

However, Lukaku has now broken his silence on his future, commenting on the speculation linking him to City.

"Fancy the blue half of Manchester Rom?," former City player Trevor Sinclair asked on social media.

"I am happy at Inter," Lukaku responded.

Pep Guardiola 's search for a striker will now continue, although the MEN understand City are yet to make an offer for Kane.
