Romantic moment boyfriend proposes to Irish Rail driver as she steps off train

This is the incredible moment an Irish Rail driver was proposed to by her boyfriend as she stepped off a train at Pearse Station on Tuesday evening.

The amazing video was caught live by midwife Clodagh Maher who was also waiting on another train as the magical moment happened.

The nervous groom-to-be was waiting for his soon-to-be wife Paula Carbó Zea with a big bunch of flowers as music filled the platform through the PA system.

As Paula comes off the train, the man gets down on one knee. Unfortunately for us the video cuts out right before the man pops the important question.

This wedding proposal in Killarney will melt your heart

We can confirm however, that Paula said a big YES and was delighted that the special night was filmed.

Paula said: "Thanks so much for sharing this moment.

"I was so surprised and at the same time excited.

"Thank you everyone who was involved to make this moment beautiful and perfect."

Midwife turned photographer, Clodagh wrote that the proposal properly perked her up after a long shift at work.

She said: "Didn’t think anything could perk me up after a busy 13hr shift, and some gent goes and PROPOSES to his GF driving the incoming train at Pearse station."
