Roman Reigns delivers four-word response after mystery hit and run attack on WWE Raw

Roman Reigns has vowed to uncover the mystery behind an attempted hit and run attack on him.

Wrestler Reigns, real name Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, narrowly avoided serious injury during WWE Raw on Monday night when a grey car smashed into the back of a vehicle he had just got out of.

Reigns had been in the middle of an argument with Samoa Joe after he arrived at the studio in a Chevrolet before out of nowhere the other car, whose driver was obscured on video clips, collided with the rear end.

Reign leaped out the way just in time, with medical staff needed to check him over.

WWE wrote in a statement: "Roman Reigns was involved in a hit-and-run earlier tonight in the parking lot of Monday Night Raw.

"He narrowly escaped what could have been a permanent injury but was checked out by WWE medical staff and released to appear tomorrow night in Detroit for SmackDown LIVE."

But Reigns called foul on both the incident and the statement and raged on social media: " Definitely not an accident."

Reigns said in an earlier tweet: "Sometimes you want to believe people can’t do what others say they’re able to...I hear y’all, I really do...I’m gonna find out the truth about this “accident.”"

Samoa Joe told the WWE: "I hope somebody finds whoever is doing what they are doing before I find them."

The incident comes after Reigns was almost the victim of another calamity.

On last week's SmackDown Live some staging was knocked over by a forklift, but the incident was foiled.

Fans reckon they saw rival Rowan in a dark hoodie in the background during the activity on SmackDown.

This would make sense with Reigns expected to fight Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, although this has yet to be confirmed by WWE.
