Roman Reigns accidentally KO’d a cameraman on the set of ‘Hobbs and Shaw’

WWE star Roman Reigns makes a small cameo in the new Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, but his big screen debut, which takes place during a climatic fight scene, didn’t go off with out a hitch.

According to a behind the scenes video that Reigns posted on his Instagram, he got a little over excited while filming a hammer throwing sequence and pretty much knocked out a cameraman.

In the video, The Rock describes what went down.

“We’re rehearsing this scene where we’re supposed to take our clubs over our head…I pretend to throw my club and I hear, ‘oh my god‘, I turn around and the (expletive) camera man is knocked out. Come find out, Joe [nailed] the camera man.”

Luckily, Lukasz, the cameraman in question, was mostly fine and was able to return to set to capture those shirtless moments of cinematic magic.

Reigns, obviously, felt terrible about hitting this poor dude, and can be overheard telling the camera guy to take a freebie punch at his face. Which is a nice gesture, I guess.

Hobbs and Shaw, with its many shirtless club-throwing sequences, hits theaters August 2.

(H/T Nick Schwartz’s mom for bringing this to our attention)
