Speaking about the BBC Three documentary, Our Silent Emergency, Roman continued: "I think what is shown in the documentary, is that suicide, I still genuinely believe and I can only speak from a male perspective, is sometimes seen as a midlife crisis thing."

He concluded: "The majority of people that we're seeing now that are struggling are are making those attempts is getting younger and younger and younger.

"In the doc, I go to Belfast and we're meeting lads who are 14-years-old, who are going through this."

The radio presenter spoke about his new documentary on The One Show (BBC)

"The call out through this is to basically come away and realise we need to start implementing something from kids, as young as the age of five," Roman said.

Roman aims to raise awareness of suicide in his new documentary and wants to provide a solution to those who are in desperate need.
