Roman Kemp’s Donald Trump impression has dad Martin in stitches as fans praise relationship

Roman Kemp impressed his dad Martin Kemp and Celebrity Gogglebox viewers with another one of his spot on impressions.

The radio presenter, who is newly-single, has regaled us with many of his impressions including a fantastic one of his former I'm a Celebrity campmate Caitlyn Jenner.

The Gogglebox stars were watching a news report where US President Donald Trump doubled back on his anti face mask message, and actually wore one.

"I think it's a great thing to wear a mask, I've never been against masks, but I do think they have a time and a place," said Trump in the video clip.

"I think during a worldwide pandemic is the time and a place," quipped Rylan Clark Neal, who was watching with his mum Linda.

"You were against masks in April! You ain't got one on!" shouted Roman.

Leaping into an impersonation of Trump complete with hand movements, Roman sneered: "You know, you know the masks, I've never been against masks, I love the masks, I don't like the masks, there's a time and a place for a mask, but I wanna wear a mask!"

His dad, Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet fame, giggled as he watched his son.

One viewer tweeted: "Roman Kemp’s Trump impression was spot on!! #Gogglebox ".

Another tweeted Martin: "You and Roman have been beautiful to watch. What a fabulous relationship you have #CelebrityGogglebox - best Friday night tv".

"Roman and his dads relationship is lovely," gushed another.

Martin recently opened up on his horrendous experience in 1995 when he was diagnosed with two brain tumours and had to have two gruelling operations to remove them.

The surgery was so invasive doctors had to implant a metal plate over his brain and under his scalp to protect his brain.

And the operation also had devastating side-effects that Martin struggled to come to terms with.

It left him with both epilepsy and dyslexia, which deeply impacted his mental health and he admits he suffered from depression.

Martin told the Huffington Post: "I didn’t just have one tumour, I had two to cope with that they couldn’t treat at the same time, so it was like living with a ticking bomb inside my head.

“I can’t quite believe, even today, that I got through it and I’m still here.”
