I’m A Celebrity’s Roman Kemp comes in third place – leaving Jacqueline Jossa and Andy Whyment to battle it out for the jungle crown

Roman Kemp has finished in third place in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

The Capital Breakfast DJ, 26, won over fans during his time in the jungle for his fun-loving nature, cheeky chappie attitude and his celebrity impressions.

Some of his impressions included hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly as well as nature expert, Sir David Attenborough.

Speaking to Ant and Dec afterwards, he said:"That was the best thing of life, I've never had more fun, I've never had an experience like that. Seeing you two every day was a dream."

Third place: He won over the nation with his impressions (ITV)

Dec asked him: "Could you believe you were in there every single day?" and Roman said: "I couldn't believe it. I was that first person to walk into main camp and I started a little calendar that Caitlyn Jenner kept telling me I was getting wrong.

"I started that calendar and I kept saying to myself, 'What if I could write 23 on there?'"

"As a fan from the show, I wanted to get jungle arms, then letters from home, then cyclone, then I thought, 'How could I be here?'"

Fan favourite: Roman scored lots of fans from his time on the show (ITV)

When asked if it was the greatest experience of his life, he added: "100%. I've never had more fun, I've never had so much emotion in my life."

During last night's episode, and while watching a Goanna - a type of lizard - he said: "And so with kangaroo tail in his stomach, Lennie goes home with four stars, he is happy.”

While he was in the jungle, Roman also opened up about his famous family - including Martin and Shirlie Kemp and godfather George Michael - and even fully embraced his heritage by singing Spandau Ballet's Gold.

In terms of campmate clashes, he generally managed to stay away from the drama, but did managed to find himself caught in cross hairs with Adele after her luxury item was revealed to be a framed photograph of Jane McDonald.

Adele took offence after Roman described her luxury item choice as a "random", and hit back: "That's prejudice."

But he managed to resolve it by apologising to her and saying he liked the image.

The duo later cemented their friendship by competing in a gruesome eating task together and encouraged each other along.
