Roman Kemp appears to have been left a little flustered by his parent’s interview for This Morning on February 20.
The 27-year old’s famous parents, Spandau Ballet’s Martin and Wham! singer Shirlie, were on the couch when they appeared to make a kinky reference to ‘toe sucking’.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL ARE MY PARENTS TALKING ABOUT ON THIS MORNING!!!!!”the Capital FM Radio host wrote on Twitter, much to his horror.
The married couple were sitting alongside Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford and discussing the news that a school in Wigan had released a leaflet which detailed how to love a partner without having sex.
Inside the pamphlet are several suggestive acts such as toe-sucking and buying underwear.
Viewers found the entire moment quite entertaining, with several admitting the thought of parents talking about sex was quite mortifying.
“Had me in creases never a dull moment, bet you loved listening to their little mushy moments bless. And all that led to little you @romankemp keep smiling,” wrote one entertained fan.
Another laughed: “Thought of you when I watched it this morning!! Knew you would be mortified!!”
During the TV appearance, 57-year-old Shirlie explained her thoughts on the leaflet.
“When I read this, the toe-sucking and buying underwear, I think it is an interesting concept.”
“Love doesn’t have to mean you have to have sex. The nicer things, pick them a flower, hold their hand, give them your last chocolate.
“The ones like, buy underwear, is sexual.”
Martin, 58, quickly chipped in, saying “The running the bath is sexual, the sucking the toes is sexual, it’s madness.”
Roman and his doting parents have always shared a close relationship and all sorts of experiences have taken place in the family’s living room.
Martin earlier admitted that at one point they were hosting a holistic healing circle in their living room with five shamans when a younger Roman walked in.
“Roman came home from school to find five shamans in orange robes in the living room making noises on these bowls.
“He walked in and thought, ‘oh no, not again, and walked out.”
