Roman Kemp makes brutal Love Island observation about Paige and Adam

Roman Kemp waded into the debate about Paige and Adam on Love Island by making a rather brutal observation about the swift pace of their romance.

For the last month, viewers of the ITV show, including avid fan Roman, had seen Welsh paramedic Paige coupled up with Jacques O'Neill, with the two reconciling earlier this week after he went behind her back by kissing another girl while she was in Casa Amor. However, a massive cat was then thrown amongst the pigeons when Love Island 2018 star Adam walked back through the doors of the villa as a bombshell on Monday night.

The 26-year-old Geordie didn't waste any time in trying to get to know Paige, which immediately got Jacques' back up, particularly after his ex Gemma Owen told him that Adam had been slagging him off. Jacques then decided to quit the villa, leaving Paige and other Islanders in tears.

However, it now looks like it could be out of sight out of mind as far as Paige is concerned as, after Adam chose her to couple up with, she confessed to Ekin-Su she was having "fanny flutters," over him, taking inspiration from words made famous by former contestant Maura Higgins.

But it was the timing of Paige sharing a bed with Adam that Capital Radio host Roman homed in on, given that it actually happened just hours after Jacques left. While viewers saw Jacques leave on Tuesday night's Love Island, the remainder of the day he left formed the basis of Wednesday's show which saw the Islanders entertained by Becky Hill and ended with the recoupling.

Making the observation, Roman tweeted: "Correct me if I’m wrong, Paige is in bed with Adam the same day Jacques left?"

His post quickly gathered a flurry of responses, with one of his followers replying: "And everyone thought Jacques was the bad guy," with another responding: "His side of the bed isn’t even cold yet."
