Here are your Chelsea morning headlines for Friday, April 23.
Abramovich left 'furious'
Roman Abramovich is said to have been left 'furious' with The Super League saga.
According to The Mirror, the Chelsea owner trusted chairman Bruce Buck's judgment over whether to join the proposed competition, and it's fair to say it was a bad call.
Chelsea felt the wrath of their fans after agreeing to become a founding member of the competition, and they pulled out 48 hours later.
Abramovich is now said to be 'furious', feeling he is reputation has been damaged over the saga, while Buck has reportedly been asked to step down by the Premier League from his position on the league's Premier League’s audit and remuneration committee.
Premier League to close loophole
The Premier League is expected to change its rules to prevent any future Super League plans from taking place again in future.
It has been a whirlwind week for football after 12 clubs from across Europe agreed to become the founding members of a new Super League before 10 of them withdrew just 48 hours later.
Intense criticism from supporters and governing bodies led to the six Premier League clubs involved, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, pulling out.
Those decisions only proved to be the start of the avalanche with all other teams involved - but for Barcelona and Real Madrid - following suit.
By Wednesday, the competition was no longer tenable, despite desperate claims from Real Madrid and Super League president Florentino Perez on Wednesday night.

The plans appear to be dead and buried, and with potential punishment being discussed, the Premier League is now looking to ensure none of its clubs ever try something like this again.
According to a Times report, the Premier League is altering its rules to ensure that any club that agrees to take part in a breakaway league faces 'immediate expulsion'.
“This will kill off the threat of English clubs joining a European Super League forever,” a source with knowledge of the developments told The Times.
“The big six have used that as their final bargaining chip for years — now it’s worthless."
Werner's Lampard issue
Timo Werner has revealed what he found difficult during Frank Lampard's time at Chelsea.
Werner has revealed there was a language barrier between the two, telling Chelsea’s Mike’d Up podcast : "Of course, you speak another language.
“For you guys (the hosts), when you come from America to London or England is much easier because it’s the same language.
“German is completely different to English. We learned it in school, but it’s always hard to understand.
“For example, when we had Lampard as the manager before, everything was in English, but now (under Tuchel) it’s more in German as well, so it’s easier for me.
“To understand everything at the beginning was not easy.”
