Rolls-Royce launches young designer competition

LUXURY car maker Rolls-Royce has launched a global competition encouraging kids up to the age of 16 to design their dream machine.

The marque hopes the Young Designer Competition will inspire and stimulate design talent, as well as provide a welcome distraction from the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns worldwide.

The Rolls-Royce design team will judge all entries and select an overall winner, who will receive a rendered illustration of their design as well as a chauffeur-driven journey in a Phantom for their first day back to school, along with their best friend.

Two additional prizes will be awarded to one lucky UK entrant. Firstly, travel to school in style in a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce once the UK’s own countermeasures draw to an end.

Secondly, a new Greenpower electric car kit will be donated to the recipient’s school so they can compete in the Greenpower Challenge schools motorsport competition.

Young designers should go to http://rolls-royceyoungdesignercompetition.com to share their innovative designs for a future Rolls-Royce. Entries must be submitted by Monday, May 18.
