Bodene Thompson is the latest Leeds Rhinos player who has yet to be offered a contract. Coach Rohan Smith confirmed the club had not offered a deal to the forward at this time, with his current set to expire at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old joined the club midway through the 2020 season following the demise of Toronto Wolfpack and has gone on to make almost 50 appearances for the club.
However, he now appears likely to depart at the end of the season and could join a growing contingent leaving Headingley once the season is over. Brad Dwyer, Muizz Mustapha, Tom Briscoe, Jack Broadbent and Liam Sutcliffe will all make way.

"Bodene and I have had several conversations about the future," Smith said. "We haven't been in a position where we could offer him something so that's how it's been each conversation.
"I really like Bodene, I think he has a lot to offer on and off the field. We get on well as a player and a coach and he's certainly one of the most respected teammates as well, but we're not in a position to do anything there."
Leeds have already confirmed the signings of two forwards in the shape of Justin Sangare and James McDonnell.
