Rodri has warned Manchester City's title rivals of the quality they have throughout their squad as the Blues picked up a crucial victory over West Ham on Sunday despite being without several key players.
City defeated an in-form Hammers 2-1 thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho, despite the far from ideal conditions as a blizzard fell upon the Etihad Stadium, to leapfrog Liverpool and go second in the Premier League table.
What was even more impressive is that Pep Guardiola's side did so without four key players as Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Ferran Torres all missed the match due to illness or injury.
Rodri praised the players who have come into the team to replace those who are unavailable in recent matches and the team for not letting performances slip despite the setbacks.
"This is all about the team, all the 24 players we are in the squad," the Spaniard told the Premier League after the match.
"We all need to be involved in this project, in this season, everyone is going to be important and today we showed people that haven't been participating in the first part of the season now are taking the responsibility.
"We have key players out but still, the team win, performing well and that's the point to be successful at the end of the season."
Rodri also admitted that the adverse weather impacted City's usual game in the first-half, but was happy with how the team came back to dominate after the break and earn the victory.
"We were lucky to get the first goal in this situation because I think the first-half we couldn't play much," he added. "It was more long balls and this kind of situation.
"But in the second-half we dominated a little bit more and we created chances enough to go 3,4 nil, we have two on the post, many chances, a good victory for the team.
"Yeah always tough, never, I don't know how to say, always keep the face to the game, never put the hands down, keep fighting. It was tough, honestly it was tough on the pitch and a tough game and three points that we won."
