Harry Kane has admitted that he is disappointed with Spurs' failure to win a trophy again this season.
The England captain has also been coy on where he will be playing next season, admitting to Gary Neville that he would love to play with Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne.
However, contrary to some reports football.london understands that the 27-year-old hasn't notified the club's hierarchy of any desire to leave Tottenham this summer.
Kane has been in blistering form this season, netting 32 goals and bagging a further 16 assists in all competitions this term.
Despite Kane's best efforts, the north London side will miss out on Champions League football for the second season in a row, currently languishing in seventh place going into Sunday's final game of the season.
Their opponents, Leicester, are still battling for a place in Europe's elite competition and a win against Spurs could secure a top-four finish if other results go their way.
Ahead of their must-win clash, the Foxes' manager Brendan Rodgers, who has been linked with the Tottenham vacancy, has been talking about Kane's future and what he brings to the team.
“There’s always speculation in this game. We’ll prepare to play against a top team," the Northern Irishman told the media in his pre-match press conference.
"Harry [Kane] is a world-class striker. He’s shown how important he is to them.
"We’ll plan for him, and the other talented players they have like Son [Heung-min] and Gareth [Bale]. We have to be ready for that.”
