Roddy White, LeBron James voice support for OSU’s Chase Young

The Falcons are in the middle of a dreadful season, but with a potential top-five pick on the horizon, one player that fans seem to have their hearts set on is Ohio State DE Chase Young.

The standout edge rusher is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Over the weekend, however, Young found himself in trouble with the NCAA after reportedly taking a loan from a family friend and will be suspended for four games.

This decision has come under heavy scrutiny as the NCAA appears to be making another tone-deaf decision to punish one of its top student-athletes.

Ohio State has undoubtedly made money off of Young, and by refusing to pay players, it feels a bit hypocritical to suspend one of the biggest names in college football.

Numerous athletes, including former Falcons WR Roddy White and NBA icon LeBron James, are speaking out in support of Young, while criticizing the NCAA:

Chase Young go get ready for the league and u can take money from whoever u like until u get your checks. Everybody know what u can do so u don’t have to go back on that field. Man literally borrowed money to fly his girlfriend to see him what a damn shame.

The fact Chase Young even had to borrow money from a family member just so his girlfriend could come see him play in one of the biggest games of his life(🌹 Bowl) should tell you all you need to know. And since y’all always wanna know more he paid it back to his family member. 🤦🏾‍♂️
