Rod Stewart was presented with a flattened lemon meringue after wife Penny Lancaster's failed to make it look like it did in the book.
Penny, 49, who once famously said that men who did cooking were cissies and that it robbed them off their masculinity, usually has a chef to cater for her and Rod's needs.
She said during the first lockdown: "I used to cook but when I met Rod he's always had a chef and we've been lucky to have that in our lives but during the lockdown that wasn't the case and I've had to pull things out the bag.
"The kids have been like mum you're cooking is great and I've just been following these recipes. They've been like do a banana bread. I'm not a cook at all but I'm a recipe follower."
Unfortunately this time round, things didn't go quite to plan as Penny showed off her lemon meringue disaster which she had to scrape out of the tin.
She claimed it was because it took so long to bake it. Penny showed off the picture of 'what it should have looked like' but the model conceded somewhat ironically 'Looks aren't everything'.
She redeemed herself later when she cooked Rod and the gang some nice Pommes Dauphinoise (potatoes with cream) and said with a smiling face emoji 'Something turned out good'.
