Rod Stewart enjoys the snow with Penny Lancaster as he continues UK tour

Rod Stewart has been enjoying the snow with Penny Lancaster and friends in London.

The Maggie May singer posed alongside his wife Penny, 51, for a snap alongside friends enjoying the winter weather. Sharing the happy snap to her 163,000 followers, Loose Women panellist Penny accompanied the photo with Rod's rendition of 'Let It Snow'.

The mother of-two also shared a video of the snow as she drove through the Royal Exchange in London. Hoops-daft Rod has been continuing his UK tour, after performing in Birmingham on Saturday night.

The 77-year-old rocker will take to the stage again tomorrow night (Tuesday) in Leeds as he cracks on with his tour, following the tragic loss of his older brother, Bob. The passing came just weeks after Rod's sibling Don passed away in September.

Announcing the tragic news to his 1.2 million followers, he said: "It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.

"I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies’."

Rod and his older sibling Bob shared a deep love for football, despite supporting opposing teams. The Do Ya Think I'm Sexy singer is a die-heard Celtic supporter and, while his brother was a staunch Rangers fan, the pair never had fights over the issue.

Sir Rod also lost his brother Don just two days before the death of the Queen. Taking to social media at the time, he said: "It has been a devastating 48 hours. We lost my brother Don on Tuesday at 94 and today we have all lost Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at 96.

"The Queen has been an unwavering presence throughout my life and a great unifier. A shining star that will never fade in our hearts and souls. What a privilege it was to perform for her. My deepest sympathies to the Royal Family. God save the King."

Rod's surviving siblings are his older sisters Peggy and Mary.
