Rod Stewart announces extra Dublin date due to phenomenal demand

Rod Stewart will rock Dublin for an extra night after adding another date to his 3Arena gig.

The Maggie May hitmaker will now play the popular venue on December 5, as well as December 4.

The announcement comes just hours after the 74-year-old rocked Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

One poignant moment of the show saw the iconic musician pay tribute to late footballer Liam Miller, who sadly died from cancer last year.

A special memorial match took place for the Ireland and Celtic player last September.

Rod is also famously a big fan of the hoops and the game of soccer.

Tickets for his latest show will go on sale on Thursday, May 30, with pre-sale tickets available from 9am on Tuesday, May 28.

As well as his classic hits, fans will be treated to tracks from his new album Blood Red Roses.
