Rocky Road in Castlereagh closed following collision

Police have closed an East Belfast road following a collision this morning.

The Rocky Road in Castlereagh has been closed in both directions following the incident and diversions have been put in place.

The road, which connects the Upper Knockbreda Road with the Manse Road, could be closed for some time.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The Rocky Road in Castlereagh has been closed in both directions following a road traffic collision. Diversions are in place."

A yellow weather warning for ice is in place this morning and police have warned of hazardous driving conditions in places.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Driving conditions are hazardous on many routes this morning due to freezing temperatures. Please avoid all unnecessary travel and if you must venture out, please reduce your speed and drive to suit the conditions."

Meanwhile, on the Westlink a broken down vehicle is currently blocking lane one just before Divis onslip causing some delays for motorists.
