Rockies top Cubs, 4-1

CHICAGO _ The Chicago Cubs dropped their second game in a row as they fell to the Colorado Rockies, 4-1, on Thursday night at Wrigley Field.

DJ LeMahieu belted a three-run home run and Tyler Chatwood was solid on the mound to lift the Rockies to their fifth consecutive win. Kris Bryant hit his 14th homer of the season for the Cubs but it wasn't enough as Jon Lester suffered his first loss at Wrigley Field since last season.

In addition to Bryant's homer, the Cubs got hits from Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, Ben Zobrist and Willson Contreras.

Charlie Blackmon was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored for the Rockies.

Lester went five innings and yielded four runs on six hits while walking one and striking out five.

Chatwood went six innings and allowed one run on four hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
