Rockets writer pledges to honor Russell Westbrook face tattoo wager

We here at For The Win have written many times about fans or journalists who make bets on social media (“If X happens, I will do (crazy thing)”), and I always say how proud I am that these folks stick with it and don’t welch.

That said, there are times I can totally understand someone backing off when it’s something really, truly wild like, say, that Cleveland radio host that said he’d eat poop if the Browns drafted Baker Mayfield.

This is one of those cases.

Taylor Pate — a contributor to a Houston Rockets website — tweeted this a few days ago:
