Rockets injury news: Eric Gordon questionable vs. Kings

Eric Gordon continues to have trouble with his right knee. The Rockets wing missed Houston’s game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday after aggravating it against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports that Gordon will carry a “questionable” listing into Wednesday’s matchup with the Sacramento Kings due to soreness.

Gordon previously missed eight games through December and January with a right knee contusion, so it makes sense that the Rockets would be extra careful with him. If he sits in Sacramento, forward James Ennis is likely to draw another in his place. The injury, though, does not appear to be serious.
