Rockets coach Stephen Silas had a heartbreaking press conference after 20th straight loss

The Houston Rockets, in case you haven’t noticed, have now lost a stunning 20 straight games after falling at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 114-112  on Sunday.

The team’s last win came way back on Feb. 4 when they beat the Grizzlies to move to 11-10 at the time. I don’t think anybody back then would have predicted John Wall and Co. would lose the next 20 games in a row but here they are.

Head coach Stephen Silas was emotional during his postgame press conference on Sunday, and rightfully so because all of this must be hard to go through, especially for a first-year head coach.

This was pretty heartbreaking:

Brutal.

The Rockets have had a few close games during their streak, including Sunday’s loss. They next play the Raptors on Monday night and here’s hoping they can get a W sometime soon.

The NBA record for most losses in a row is 28 by the Sixers back in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
