Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni ‘plans to use’ two bigs on court vs. Lakers

The Houston Rockets have struggled for the last two games, losing to a pair of teams with losing records, but their head coach Mike D’Antoni is not afraid to share his strategy with the press. Or at least, he’s putting a little extra effort in deceiving the Lakers ahead of a marquee matchup that will be televised nationally on ABC.

LeBron James, (maybe) Anthony Davis and the Lakers begin a five-game road trip on Saturday night against the Rockets. The trip will take them from Houston up through the East Coast, but the Rockets game will be a uniquely difficult task with James Harden. The Lakers size puts a scare into most of their opponents, and for good reason. With LeBron James at point guard and a center starting usually alongside Anthony Davis, the Lakers are intimidating. And it sure sounds like D’Antoni is assuming Davis will play in Saturday night’s primetime game, even though Davis is technically questionable.
