Rocketman: Taron Egerton struts his stuff in new Saturday Night clip

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday...

If you are looking for something to brighten up you're day then you are in luck with this new clip from Elton John biopic Rocketman.

The musical fantasy film from Bohemian Rhapsody director Dexter Fletcher is out in cinemas now and stars Taron Egerton as the iconic singer, alongside the likes of Jamie Bell as best friend Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as his manager/lover John Reid and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton's mother Sheila Eileen Farebrother.

The film charts his rise to success, alongside his struggles with addiction and coming to terms with his sexuality.

The latest clip occurs from early in the film as Elton's career is on the up, and encapsulates the style and tone the film takes with his music.

In a fairground setting, Elton and a whole host of strangers perform a high-energy rendition of Saturday Night and it looks amazing.

Other songs that feature in the film include Your Song, Rocketman, Candle in the Wind, and Don't Go Breaking My Heart.

Elton recently spoke about how he was a virgin until the age of 23 in an insightful interview.

Rocketman is in UK cinemas now.
