How Much Did Michael Thorbjornsen Win At The Rocket Classic?

The Rocket Classic offered plenty of incentives for the players, from the fact that it was the penultimate tournament in the battle for a place in the FedEx Cup Playoffs to the eye-catching prize money available.

That overall purse was raised $400,000 from when Aldrich Potgieter won last year, meaning $10 million was available in 2026.

In the end, Michael Thorbjornsen carded an epic final round of 63 to claim his maiden PGA Tour title, holding off big names including Xander Schauffele and Cameron Young in the process.

As well as various perks, including a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour and the honor of winning the final edition of the Rocket Classic, Thorbjornsen also benefits from a huge payout.

Thanks to the increased prize money, Thorbjornsen earned $1,800,000 for his victory - the largest pay check of his career.

Schauffele finished solo runner-up at the event, giving him prize money of $1,090,000, which should ease the sting of defeat.

Everyone who finished inside the top 25 not only had a chance of improving their FedEx Cup ranking but also picking up a check for more than $100,000.
