Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions rescheduled after coronavirus cancellation

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will go ahead in November, six months after its original date.

The ceremony will take place on Nov. 7 at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, HBO announced Tuesday.

The Hall of Fame had postponed the ceremony, originally set for May 2, two weeks ago as the coronavirus outbreak was spreading across the country.

Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G., Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Nine Inch Nails and T. Rex are set to be inducted in the 2020 class.

Concerts and music festivals around the country and world have been canceled or postponed over coronavirus concerns.
