Rock Om! Yoga instruction comes to Hard Rock Hotel rooms

Hard Rock Hotel is introducing a music-inspired, in-room yoga program at its worldwide locations, including the one at Universal Orlando, Fla. It's called Rock Om.

The program seeks to fuse the serenity of yoga with musical beats, according to a news release. DJ Drez provided original tracks for Rock Om; his wife, yogi Marti Nikko, gives the instruction on the videos. The segments are in collaboration with Manduka, a yoga equipment and apparel maker.

Three videos will be available to guests. "Zenith" includes calming medication and breathing exercises. "Zeppelin" involves poses with "high-energy-Vinyasa flow," the release says, a "Zen" allows folks to recharge with traditional movements.

"Rock Om is set to fan the flames for innovative hotel wellness experiences, and we couldn't be more proud to launch the program to all of our brand fans," said Dale Hipsh, senior vice president of Hard Rock Hotels.

As part of the program, Hard Rock guests can request an in-room yoga kit with a regionally-inspired Yogitoes towel created by Manduka specifically for Hard Rock Hotels, a Manduka PROlite yoga mat and a Manduka Go Play carrier bag. (The items are available for purchase in the hotel lobby's Rock Shop.)

Orlando's Hard Rock Hotel has 650 rooms and is one of 24 hotels operated by Hard Rock International, which also has 11 casinos and 179 restaurants.
