Starting from the Royal Albert Dock, runners will head out across Liverpool ’s iconic waterfront, taking in the Pier Head, the Beatles statue, and the stunning Three Graces.

Runners will then head towards the business district, turning left at the Superlambanana and across Leeds Street.

Heading to the north of the city, runners will be able to take in Goodison Park, passing through the Dixie Dean gates and making a full 360-degree loop of the stadium, where there will be a mini fan park with entertainment and a water station.

Miles five to seven will see runners passing through Stanley Park, taking in Anfield Stadium, before retracing the same course back towards the city centre.

While the ‘Marathon Mountain’ St Domingo Road is no longer a part of the race, runners will have to climb Prince Edwin Street.

Upon return to the city centre, the course sees runners take in the Eleanor Rigby statue, Mathew Street, The Cavern Club, the Chinese Arch, Princes Park, Sefton Park, Penny Lane and Otterspool Promenade, before arriving back on the waterfront at the M&S Bank Arena.
