Rochelle Humes shuts down Saturdays' reunion as she insists she's 'checked out' of girlband

Rochelle Humes has shut down any talk of a reunion for The Saturdays, as she insists "I'm checked out of all that."

The doting mum-of-three shot to fame as a member of the girlband in 2007, and the band were active until 2014.

Now married to Marvin Humes with children, 32-year-old Rochelle says she "couldn't even imagine" the band getting back together amid JLS' confirmed reunion.

Unfortunately for fans of the TV presenter and her pals Una Healy, Frankie Bridge, Mollie King and Vanessa White, it doesn't seem like they will be reuniting anytime soon.

"I just couldn't even imagine," Rochelle told Heat. "It's mad because, of course, me and the girls are still great friends, but it's all catching up or going for dinners or cocktails.

"I just can't imagine living that life again - it feels like a whole other Rochelle. I'll leave that to Marv and the boys."

Rochelle didn't rule out a get together entirely, as she teased "never say never" but she added: "I'm checked out of all that."

In 2014, the girlband revealed they were taking a hiatus. During that time, they didn't release anymore music and all went on to do their own things.

Meanwhile, Rochelle's husband Marvin is set to reunite with his former bandmates Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams and JB Gill later this year for a huge comeback tour.

The four-piece were forced to postpone their comeback greatest hits tour last March after the world was plunged into a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But earlier this year, they confirmed it will be happening from October to November.

Speaking to The Sun, Marvin said: "Nobody could have predicted the last 12 months, but the tour will go ahead, and we've been working hard behind-the-scenes."

It was also reported the boys will release new music this year after teaming up with record label BMG.

The band plan to hit the road from October 20 until November 27.

Since leaving The Saturdays, Rochelle has gone on to build a successful career in TV.

She regularly guest-hosts This Morning, and since 2019, has co-presented BBC game show The Hit List alongside her husband.
