Rochelle Humes has said that Rolex owners can't wear their watches in London as it's "too scary to wear anything nice" in the capital.
The Saturdays singer was speaking to Sedge Beswick on her Ladies Who Launch podcast when the pair began to discuss the entrepreneur buying one of the luxury watches for the first time before an important meeting, questioning whether she should have borrowed one of the timepieces instead.
"You can't wear one in London now... It's too scary to have anything nice," Humes remarked.
Last year, a pair of Rolex thieves were caught on video when they were snared by undercover police officers posing as a wealthy couple in Mayfair.
Metropolitan Police data obtained by the London Standard through a Freedom of Information request showed that 3,428 watches valued above £3,000 were stolen between 1 January 2023 and 30 November 2025.
