Get your hats, scarves and big coats ready - it's almost time for Rochdale's Christmas Market and Lights Switch On 2019.
This year, guests are invited to gather for the big switch on November 24 for some outdoor entertainment.
The Fat Cat Brass will be performing a musical concert and Rochdale's own Skylight Circus will be putting on an illuminated performance.
Also making an appearance on the night will be the Winter Fairy, Winter Woodland Birds, Jacks of Frost and The Luminas who will be popping up throughout the evening.
The special guest will be announced at 5pm and they will then approach the town hall balcony for the big switch-on to mark the start of the festive season in Rochdale.
As well as the big switch on the town hall will also be hosting Rochdale's annual Christmas Markets.
Pick up frothy hot chocolate and browse the gift stalls while you enjoy the festive sounds of Wardle Community Band and Rochdale Music Service.
This year there'll be an impressive selection of Christmas card and gift wrapping stalls, gift stalls, food stalls, body and skin care stalls, toys and book stalls, Christmas decoration stalls, and clothing, home and accessory stalls.
Cake brand Ridiculously Rich by Alana - created by BBC's The Apprentice 2016 winner Alana Spencer - will also be making an appearance on the markets.
And Rochdale's Christmas Lights Café will also be on hand to feed the crowds.
