April 21--Mike Trout hit a two-run homer to left-center field off White Sox left-hander John Danks to help lift the Angels to a 3-2 victory Thursday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field. Danks gave up a single to Andrelton Simmons with two outs in the fifth inning before Trout hit out his second homer of the year.
The Angels added on in the ninth inning when Kole Calhoun led off with a double against Zach Duke and scored on Carlos Perez's sacrifice bunt for a 3-1 lead.
Todd Frazier homered off Huston Street with two outs in the ninth inning to cut it to 3-2. Melky Cabrera and Brett Lawrie followed with walks, but Austin Jackson flied out to the wall in left field.

Melky Cabrera hit his first homer of the season, a solo shot to right field in the seventh inning off Angels right-hander Jered Weaver to cut the Angels' lead to 2-1. The Sox managed just three hits off Weaver in his seven innings.
