Robin van Persie drops major Paul Pogba exit hint after Man United star misses Arsenal clash

Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has given his view on Paul Pogba's uncertain situation at Old Trafford, as the midfielder missed another Premier League match.

It was confirmed by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the kick-off against Arsenal that the World Cup winner would remain on the sidelines for another few weeks, due to injury.

That is despite him returning to the side against Watford just before Christmas, before Pogba also featured for Manchester United against Newcastle United on Boxing Day.

While Pogba is currently out due to injury, questions have been asked about his long-term future at Old Trafford and van Persie believes the situation is not normal.

“It’s a bit mysterious to me, it’s not full answers, it’s always a grey area," he told BT Sport.

"I think it’s important that Paul speaks out himself and really says what he feels. Does he want to stay or does he want to go?"

Pogba's last start for United came in the previous clash with Arsenal last year.
