Robin Olsen reveals Everton 'plan' after talks with Carlo Ancelotti

Robin Olsen has cryptically revealed "there's a plan" for him at Everton that has been hatched by Carlo Ancelotti.

The Blues signed the goalkeeper on loan from AS Roma for the season.

There is no option to buy the Swedish stopper as part of the agreement but Olsen has impressed since joining on deadline day last month.

Ancelotti handed the 30-year-old his Everton debut against Newcastle United earlier in November and though the Blues lost 2-1, Olsen was the team's stand-out player on the day.

Olsen was preferred to Jordan Pickford that day and promised it would not be the last time the deadline day recruit would feature this season.

Speaking to Fotbollskanalen - and as cited by Sport Witness - the on loan Everton goalkeeper said: There’s a plan, I had a good chat with Ancelotti after I signed. It takes time to move to a new country and get to a new club.”

Olsen went onto add: “To be able to make a debut is of course great. But I want more. I want to continue playing and that is what I will strive for."

Olsen has been named on the bench for every other Everton game since he joined the club, pushing Jonas Lossl down the pecking order to third choice.
