Robin Hood Marathon Events has unveiled the limited edition 2021 commemorative t-shirts.
There are two designs to choose from, long sleeved in royal blue and short sleeved in green.
The race takes place Sunday, September 26 at Victoria Embankment and there is still time to enter to take part.
The t-shirts are available in sizes Small-XXL for men and women.
To celebrate 40 years of running, the team are offering a 40 per cent discount when you buy four t-shirts.
Judith Manson, race organiser said: “Exclusive designs also await for our mini-marathon runners, those opting for the VIP race experience and also the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge runners.
"No matter your chosen race, we promise a buzz like no other on Sunday 26 September.
"From lacing up at the race village to every turn of the course, to finish line hugs and cheers, this a race for the memory book.”
Every finisher will receive a commemorative 40th anniversary spinning medal and if you choose the goody bag entry you'll pick up a tote bag loaded with goods.
She added: “Each year we strive to come back bigger and better, so this year we’ve made a big focus on our eco-friendly approach to race day.
"Runners can now choose from the medal and water only entry or the goody bag with finisher t-shirt option.
"Cutting back on unwanted finisher t-shirts and bags is just one way we are working towards a more sustainable race.
"As well as saving the planet by choosing the medal only option runners also benefit from £5 off their race entry fee.”
The race weekend includes the half marathon and a mini marathon in partnership with Ikano Bank and the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge.
