The race team has revealed the special 40th anniversary race medal for the Robin Hood marathon.
The race takes place on Sunday, September 26 at Victoria Embankment with thousands of runners expected to take on the closed road half marathon.
Runners can run for their chosen charity or enter into the Club Challenge.
The new medal embraces the 40th anniversary as it writes '40 years of running'.
There is also a special prize for a club's inspiring volunteer for non-runners.
Judith Manson, race organiser, said: "We want to celebrate and give thanks to the wonderful clubs keeping the running community alive across Nottingham.
"To all organisers, run leaders and club members who support our event year in year out, we are just so inspired by your passion and commitment to your running."
There is a choice of three entries for September’s race weekend – the Half Marathon, the Mini marathon and the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge.
