Roberto Firmino's wife sends sweet message after Liverpool's winning goal in FIFA Club World Cup semi final

Roberto Firmino's wife Larissa sent him a sweet message after scoring the winning goal.

Liverpool played Monterrey in tonight's FIFA Club World Cup semi-final at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.

The Reds got off the mark with a close range goal from Naby Keita in the 11th minute of the game, before Rogelio Funes Mori for Monterrey followed up with a goal for his team in the 13th minute.

Both teams created a fair few chances whilst remaining in control of the ball.

But it would be Firmino, who came on as a substitution, that would hand Liverpool a late win.

Flicking the ball home after a great assist by Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Brazilian forward helped Jurgen Klopp's team book a final place against Brazilian side Flamengo.

His wife Larissa was ecstatic with the 28-year-old's performance posting a sweet message on Instagram.

Taking a screenshot of Liverpool FC's update, Larissa wrote in Portuguese: "Glory to you father, I love you. My Pride."

She later shared a message from fellow WAG Natalia Becker, Alisson's wife, which said: "Si Senor!"
