A 100 per cent Premier League record places the Reds two points clear at the summit as they enjoy a well-earned rest from domestic action with the international break now upon us.
The Reds kicked off their campaign with a 4-1 win over Norwich before beating Southampton eight days' later at St Mary's.
Liverpool then followed that up with three points at home to Arsenal as a convincing display saw them run out 3-1 winners against the Gunners.
Jurgen Klopp's men then signed off for the break with a 3-0 win at Burnley last Saturday .
The Champions League holders also had the small matter of the UEFA Super Cup to add to their trophy cabinet too after they beat Chelsea on penalties in Istanbul last month.
The only blip on the copy book so far was the shootout defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield, but Klopp will have been heartened by how his side matched the Premier League champions for large parts of the game - including a second half they dominated.
