The Rams were thrilled to land Odell Beckham Jr. last week, signing him as a free agent. But on the very day he arrived in Los Angeles, Robert Woods suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury.
It’s a devastating blow for a veteran receiver who has never had a season-ending injury. It’s also a setback for the Rams, who will now be without one of their most important players on offense.
Woods penned a message to fans and his followers on social media, reflecting on the injury and how heartbroken he is over it. He thanked everyone for their support and well wishes, but added that “the feeling is really indescribable.”
